Topsail TikTok terms of service

1. The service

Topsail is operated by Easy Company Consulting LLC. Topsail provides software and related services for sales execution, prospecting, account development, outreach, reporting, and marketing workflows. The TikTok integration allows an authorized user to connect a TikTok account and prepare, schedule, upload, or publish content using TikTok developer services.

2. Eligibility and authorization

You represent that you are authorized to connect the TikTok account you select, grant the requested permissions, and publish content for that account. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate TikTok account access, Topsail user roles, and internal approval for people who create or schedule content.

3. Relationship to TikTok

Topsail is an independently developed application. Topsail is not produced, endorsed, or sponsored by TikTok, and TikTok is not responsible for Topsail. Your use of TikTok remains governed by your agreements with TikTok, including applicable community, developer, content, and account rules.

4. TikTok authorization and permissions

By connecting TikTok, you authorize Topsail to access TikTok data and functionality within the permissions shown during the TikTok consent flow. Depending on the enabled workflow, these may include basic profile information, content upload, direct publishing, publish-status checks, and refreshable access needed to maintain the connection.

Topsail uses TikTok permissions only to provide, secure, support, and troubleshoot the TikTok-connected features you authorize.

5. Content and publishing instructions

You retain ownership of content you provide. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and publish the content, including video, audio, images, captions, trademarks, likenesses, and other included material.

When you schedule or initiate a TikTok publication through Topsail, you instruct Topsail to transmit the selected content and publishing settings to TikTok. You are responsible for reviewing the content, caption, disclosures, timing, audience, and privacy selection before publication.

6. TikTok platform restrictions

TikTok may limit account eligibility, content formats, audience settings, publishing volume, or the visibility of content posted by unaudited developer clients. TikTok may reject, delay, limit, remove, or otherwise act on content or accounts under its own policies. Topsail does not control those decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Topsail TikTok integration to:

• Violate applicable law, TikTok policies, or third-party rights.
• Publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content.
• Send spam or manipulate engagement or platform metrics.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.
• Circumvent account, permission, rate-limit, review, safety, or audience controls.
• Interfere with the security or performance of Topsail or TikTok.

8. Data and privacy

Information processed through the TikTok integration is handled as described in the Topsail privacy notice and the applicable customer agreement. As between the customer and Topsail, the customer retains ownership of customer data.

9. Fees

Topsail is a paid product unless an order form or written agreement states otherwise. Pricing for TikTok-connected workflows is governed by the applicable order form, statement of work, or written quote.

10. Disconnection, suspension, and termination

You may disconnect TikTok from Topsail or revoke Topsail access through TikTok. Disconnecting stops new TikTok API activity for that connection but does not automatically remove content already published to TikTok or delete data previously processed by Topsail.

Topsail may suspend or disable the integration when needed to protect users or systems, comply with law or platform rules, address misuse, or respond to changes in TikTok developer services.

11. Warranty disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, the TikTok integration is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Topsail does not warrant uninterrupted publishing, continued availability of TikTok developer services, or acceptance or visibility of any content. Topsail disclaims warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

Liability for Topsail and the TikTok integration is governed by the applicable customer agreement. If no written agreement applies, Topsail's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to these terms

Topsail may update these terms when the integration, applicable law, or TikTok developer requirements change. The revision date above identifies the latest published version.
