Create a report that will be used for Kaizen Reporting.

You’ve got a great checklist and a set of corresponding “how to” documents that drive standardization. This report is how you leverage your checklist in order to optimize the workflows.

How does it work? Pretty simple. Every time a mistake is made, you copy out the line in the checklist that corresponds to where the mistake was made and you copy it into this report. As you track the mistakes, easy to identify trends will start to appear (Here’s a more detailed discussion). You use those trends to improve your checklists, which in turn optimize your workflows.
